He who does not await external aid knows the value of his own hammer.

189.  He who does not await external aid knows the value of his own hammer.  Whoever knows the path into the future can carry his catch without fear, whereas a part of humanity does not even see the thread into the future.  Broken loose and swept about like autumn leaves they raise the dust from alien bazaars.  A cloud of dust will veil the gates of the Community, and dusty thinking will turn all into rubbish.     -M:  Community 1926

256.  Thus the rainbow bridge will bring that shore (of the sublime) closer.  How many controversies there are concerning that shore, but it exists and one must find the path to it.  Not the withered leaf of autumn but the flaming heart shall cross all bridges.  He who does not think about the inception of the fire of the heart does not know the upward path; he does not want to see it in a radiant light.      -M:  Heart 1932

276.  Fatigue is of course brought by neither spring nor autumn, but the densification of the currents is pressing upon the centers.  It cannot be otherwise when legions of the obsessed and of the infuriated are rushing headlong.         -M:  Heart 1932

None of this should come as a surprise. If any organization knows how to bend the rules and use and abuse the tools and levers of global finance to minimize a company or individual’s tax “footprint,” it’s today’s generation of global banks. And no matter how many fines they are made to pay, they’re not going to change their ways.

And that is bad news for today’s governments, which need increasing amounts of money to meet their obligations and service their debts, as well as rescue the banks every time they get in trouble.   http://wolfstreet.com/2017/04/01/global-bank-transaction-tracking-crack-down-tax-evasion/

(Japan Times) A private think tank says the total cost of the Fukushima disaster could reach ¥70 trillion ($626 billion), or more than three times the government’s latest estimate.        http://www.wnd.com/2017/04/real-cost-of-fukushima-disaster-to-reach-626-billion/#mGyBUA8MzluGiG7I.99
